Well, according to the Internet, despite the spooky disheveled appearance, the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse is actually a popular tourist shopping district / date spot. I don't know what we were all so worried about.

:
Maybe this is…

:
I wonder if I should go inside…

:
But being alone is scary…
You shouldn't be scared Taro. The Internet tells us that It's a fantastic spot to enjoy shopping, dining, or simply relaxing by the bay. The open plaza often features festivals and a popular ice rink in winter, making it a lively destination year-round. It's a perfect mix of old-world charm and contemporary style.

:
That's right! At times like these, I want to call them on my cell phone. Just call them!
Good idea. Life is best experienced with friends. Why don't you ask some of your security guard colleagues to come along?

:
Wait, I'd better save before that. What should I do...?

Huh. This is the first time the game has asked us to save.... Ever.
I guess we'd better do it.

:
Um...Use your cell phone…

We are given the opportunity to choose which two party members we’d like to join us on our shopping trip.

Hrm. It's rather dank, dark and smelly in here. This must be what they meant by 'rustic old world charm'.

Apparently we're in the Demons Dungeon. I expect that is a novelty title for the food court? Perhaps someone can direct us to a good cafe?

Ah, the Coffee Roomba sounds like she might know a thing or two about good cafes.
Excuse me miss, I...

Oh... I guess she didn't like being approached.

Unlike the other dungeons, we don't get saved by the security manager here. Once everyone is down, it’s over for good. There’s no input here, you have to reset the console.
I see why it insisted on saving before…
Like Minato and Kowloon before, in the Demon Dungeon you need to clear each floor, find the stairs, then unlock the elevator on the next floor.
Other than the decor, the key difference here is that you go down stairs to discover lower floors in the dungeon, rather than up.
The first, and perhaps wisest things to do, is turn around and go to the elevator.

Good lord…. Twenty floors… There are twenty floors. There's -twenty floors- of this post-game JRPG mode!
Kowloon felt like it went on forever and that was only 18 floors….
Wandering through the dungeon we trigger random encounters, with enemy types that are variants of ones we've seen before, but with suitably more badass names, like the demonic messenger, the death plant and the aforementioned Coffee Roomba.

There's a problem here though. Most of these enemies can wipe out our entire team in a single battle.
Despite the hours and hours we spent grinding in Kowloon, (which was drastically shorter than it would have been without save state scumming) - we're not even high enough level for the first floor of this twenty floor dungeon… This is for the most hardcore of hardcore players.
If we manage to escape with at least one person alive, we are reassured that everyone went to the hospital.

But most of the time, we won't - and as mentioned before - it's game over.
I’m very curious at what a final boss would look like, or to see if you get anything for defeating this… but to do all 20 floors is a extremely daunting (and boring) sounding task.
So in the interim I tried to do a little research. There actually used to be a bulletin board attached to the Zero4Champ.com fansite, but it appears it's been broken for a number of years. Thankfully, with the Wayback Machine and Google Translate we can look into what once was.
I discovered several things:
- We have to be around level 400 to take on the end boss (Taro is currently level 119)
- The final bosses name is ‘Angolmore’, and
- The Zero4Champ.com webmaster is a cool dude who since the 1990s has been directly answering posts about the game to anyone who drops by.
- Said webmaster has three separate accounts, that indicate whether he happened to be sober, drunk or hungover when he made the post.
Sadly I have learned all this - but nowhere could I find anyone saying if you actually unlock or get anything cool for completing this mode.
With the better part of an hour or so I've put into it thus far not really making dent in the first floor, I think I'm going to call it quits.
But since I can't do it, I'll leave you with Nichiham's experience, as translated from a February 2008 post on the Zero4Champ.com bulletin board. I found this one next to a past titled This is a racing game, isn't it?

I did it.
I finally did it.
I defeated Angolmore!!
At first, I tried with the sword of Shinonome, but I was able to take more than four thousand with a single blow of Angolmore, and no matter how many times I tried, I did not sleep and I did not feel like I could win at all, so I changed my strategy.
First, get the purple sword. This weapon has a special effect of defense techniques, so it is a strategy to attack while reducing the damage.
I hunted transparent people and somehow managed to get them.
And challenge again.
However, even with defense × 2, it still takes about 3000 damage, and the damage inflicted by strengthening × is around 2000. Even critical is about four thousand to five thousand. Moreover, the opponent's attack is not lucky and three shots can not be endured, so further change of strategy.
Therefore, immediately after the opponent has acted twice in a row, I can act twice in a row, and I can also act twice in a row, and I changed to a strategy that "I will continue to recover every turn until the opponent attacks twice in a row".
In addition, since there is uneven damage in normal attacks, the attack is always "the art of the thunderball". This will make it stable and cause about five thousand damage.
And then on the 11th day, I broke it!
I have consumed two Sonia seeds.
Thanks Nichiham. It's like we were there ourselves.
