are there weight reduction modifications in the game? I forget. but there's ~250 kg in weight difference between the two all-wheel drive heavy hitters in the GTO being porkier than the R32 GT-R, so for that reason I think you should dump the parts onto Godzilla and see what happens. I also really think an AWD car is going to be best since we don't have the tire goop.

There's a mod for 'lightweighting'. You don't get to see any figures for the overall car weight as a result of the lightweighting - but I presume it affects the kg/m torque value.

Now though, now I wonder if we could've beaten Daisuke with Brap Brap or Mouthbreather if it weren't for his magical cheating road glue. Yes, I am still sore about this.

Me too.

Some behind the curtain secrets.

I actually beat Daisuke using the NSX. But the movie that has all footage I wanted to use implies a R33 Skyline vs the A80 Supra. When I tried the Skyline (noting it is the single turbo RWD GT-ST R33 and not the twin turbo AWD monster GTR 32) I was absolutely slaughtered, with zero chance of a win, even fully modified.

I even had to actually crudely edit the bits of the game footage to make it look like the R33 was holding its own.

Fujiwara runs about mid 9s, meaning Brap Brap at the best I could get it was tantalizingly close, but I couldn't get any faster than 9.7.
