Thanks everyone for voting. Taro has purchased a MX5 / Miata!
And… we discover a new feature for Zero4 Champ RR.
…We get to pick the car colour!
And with the power of the Super Famicom behind us, we can pick anything from the RGB Colour Range!

Yes, we can pick Red OR Green OR Blue!
What choice!
I would have given you guys the option, but I already made the reveal video. So, red it is.

:
thank you very much

:
I'm currently getting your car serviced. Please wait a moment…

:
The customer is going to do the zero-yon.

:
Do you often go to the pier?

:
Pier? What’s that?

:
Oh, you don't know?

:
Speaking of the piers, isn’t it a mecca for Kusa Zero Yon?
This was an odd translation, but I understand kusa is referring to ‘grass’ and the mechanic is telling us the pier is the place everyone goes for grassroot races.
A.k.a we're back to illegal street racing at the docks, just like in the first game!

:
Is that so?

:
I'll go next time.

:
Can you tell me where it is?

:
That's fine, but you can also go normal.

:
You won't win unless you tune it properly.

:
Tune…

:
You mean I can't win with the car I bought? Or is it just my arm that's weak?
I like the notion that Taro just thought he could buy a car and then win races by being really good at using his arm.

:
That's not true. The tuning is important for zero-to-four.

:
No matter how good your car is, you can't win if it's stock.

:
Even the fastest car in Japan in stock condition against light cars tuned for zero-to-yon runs
:
You can't compete.

:
Hey, is that true?

:
Well, even a 280 horsepower Supra [A tuned Starlet...]

:
First of all, you can’t win.

:
I see… so that's what it was…

:
That guy could not choose any car he wants!

:
He was acting all cocky…
You're only just learning why you lost to Fujiwara now Taro? Did you think it was his superior arm?

:
Thank you. I learned a lot!

:
No, you're welcome.

:
We also offer tuning parts etc. We have a wide selection available.

:
We also provide excellent service to customers who purchase our cars.

:
Service?
Yes Taro. Every 10,000km or 12 months, whatever comes first.

:
yes

:
A rotating target for customers.

:
Please press the A button to stop it.

:
I'll do the tunes that stop at the arrows above for free.

:
We call it Tune Roulette!
Say what? This wasn’t what I thought he meant by 'service' .

:
Hmm
.

:
yes / no
Would you like to try Tune Roulette?
Of course we do!

Hey! Check this out. It's a rotating wheel of fortune that spins, and whenever it lands, you get the corresponding tune up for free!
Now this is what I call service.
Let's spin the wheel…

:
Congratulations!

:
You've won a CPU tune-up and bore up!
Awesome! There's a rare chance to get two tunes, and we just did! That's pretty damn good value, those mods aren't cheap....
How can the car shop afford to give out free modifications? Wait... Did we massively overpay for the car?

:
We'll install it right away.

:
Thank you.

Ok. We now have a new interface here with three options. They're similar to the last game. There's Purchase Car, Tune and Parts options.
Let's check out Parts…

Now this looks familiar! It's almost the same interface and parts as the last game.
Available we have:,
- Small Turbo
- Mid Turbo
- Big Turbo
- Supercharger
- HyperCharger
- Intercooler
- 4 Speed Transmission
- 6 Speed Transmission
- Racing Slicks, and
- Auto Clutch
Noticeably there isn't the Nitro Boost and different weather tyres of the last game… Maybe there's no wet / ice races this time around?
The ‘Auto Clutch’ is new, which I assume means we don't need to use the clutch to shift gears.
We still have a surprising amount of money since the game started off quite generously, so let's buy some
Racing Slicks to start us off.

:
When the car's power increases unless you put on slick tires. Don't expect a high time.
Let's check out the Tuning options.

Ah, this looks just like Zero4Champ 2 as well. We've already got the CPU Tune and Bore Up for free, so the list is shorter than normal.
The only new part appears to be ‘Traction’ which I believe means Traction Control. This should help the wheels slipping and make the car launch better.

:
Keep the parts in the car. Don't forget to wear it.

:
Otherwise you won't win the race.

:
Please come again.
