Hell yeah!
I too can personally vouch for the awesomeness of A PIT Autobacs Shinome and can add my experience and photos to your story...
I didn't really know what to expect, but I'd looked up ‘car enthusiast things to do in Japan' and this was one of them.
The first thing you notice is it's bloody huge. Four stories, it's the footprint of IKEA, but dedicated to car accessories.

Before I even set foot in the place I got enough entertainment by walking around the parking lot and service area - it was a great place for carspotting.

The entire ground floor is workshop space, with mechanics working on customer cars, and bays of carwash stations where people were washing their cars.
Then you go upstairs into the shop and as Harper mentioned - there's just about every useful and useless car accessory you can think of, from wiper blades to leds, to dashboard organizers to cleaning equipment and in-between. There was even a sizable clothing section, should you wish to accessories your outfit with your ride.

I didn't have much space in my luggage, but I couldn't help but buy a Japanese ‘electronic flare’ to place in the flare holders on my cars, (as flares are illegal / not used in Australia.)

Should you want a Toyota 2000gt out of a capsule toy, they’ve also got you covered:

I did enjoy the Starbucks in the middle of the library particularly amusing, and enjoyed a coffee whilst catching up on the latest issues of Gentlemen Driver and Roadster Bros.

As Harper mentioned the real mouth watering stuff was upstairs - stuff that had no chance of fitting in my suitcase, but I wanted it all anyway. If you have a modern sports car, there was lots of performance equipment. I had a GT86 at the time and there was a good section dedicated to various parts and components.

I got a kick out of the fact there was a dedicated little room, encased in glass, with its own entrance completely dedicated to the Fiat Abarth 500 and associated accessories.

However - there's one thing I really wanted that I must go back there one day for... because I saw my holy grail of car accessories there that I have been unable to find since...
... A metre long ostrich feather duster.

Yes.
Why you ask? Well. Remember I said I had imported a Japanese chauffeur limo into Australia from Japan? (A Toyota Century)
Well, this car has a dedicated holder in the boot for a giant ostrich feather duster.

You see, owners of these cars when new, didn't just own the car, they also owned the driver.
And whilst the owner of the car was off bonking his mistress, it was the drivers responsibility to stay with the car and keep it clean and tidy. Ostrich feathers are the best dust removers with the softest feathers that will not scratch paint.

Typically loose feather items would be removed and destroyed by customs on import to Australia, so you can't get them here, and they're removed from the car on import.
One day I’ll have you… feather duster…
