Ok. So throughout Zero4 Champ II, there was one car modification in the part store that I’d always longingly stare at, but never could purchase - the Nitro Jet.

At a whopping $750,000, you can understand why. You would have to do an unbelievable amount of grinding to get even close to that number. We never did…
It would be fun to see it installed on the Como, but we spent $895,000 of our million dollar cheat money on all those cars, parts and tuning, so there's very little left.

However, on a Japanese language Zero4Champ fan website I read another tip:
- Enter the shop
- Use only the cross key from the neutral position to change gears in order from 1st to 6th speed.
- Select “Buy Parts
If the conditions are met, Nitro will be able to purchase it cheaper than usual.
Hrm… So I think this is saying we need to mimic the gear changes of a manual H-Patterned shifter.
So I loaded up Shifty’s parts purchase screen, and entered the following inputs:
Left, up, down, down, up, right, up, down, down, up, right, up, down, down.
Did that do anything?

Oh, it sure did! Nitro is now only $5,000! A $745,000 discount.
Let's install it and see what it does...
