Okay. We're going to have to change up our approach if we're to defeat these Meatheads.

First off, I'm going to swap out NSX for something else…

Not that we necessarily need to mind you, but I want to give every car we bought its moment in the sun whether in a race or a video.

And what says Japanese muscle more than a fully tuned Toyota Supra!

: Hey, you're back! Have you gotten a little stronger?

: We won't lose today!

We're up against the Merc again…

This time, we take no prisoners, and slaughter him. You see, I've figured out how heavy shifting works. You have to hold the direction of the gear change for a couple of seconds rather than just tapping it, like normal. This presumingly is simulating Hiro struggling with the weight to shift gears.

It's possible one of our random items is making this easier too. We do have Super Grease and Power Wrists equipped.

Each shift still loses valuable seconds though, so I developed a strategy to start the car in second and use a four speed transmission to minimize the amount of changes we'd need to do.

And with the strategy in place, we started to win races!

: What's the problem?

:That's pretty good, but what about next time?

Next time is now. Looks like we’re up against a Lambo. To be honest, I'm surprised these beefcakes even fit in one. It can’t be comfortable in there.

And we did it!

: What's the problem?

: That's pretty good, but what about next time?

That's what you said the last time. I suspect it will go the same as this time. The next time... you will lose.

Next up we've got a Mustang. An appropriate muscle car for this American Meathead.

That one was close, but we got him at the end!

That's all the cronies down. It's time to take on Captain Beef himself.

:I wonder if his arms are already shaking?

: Shut up, you're next! Let's have a showdown!

Looks like Mr Universe here is driving an old Chevy. One of those ones with a living room for an interior. I don't suspect he'd fit in a modern car.

But is it fast enough?

Woah! It sure is fast.

That race was a draw!  I've never seen that happen in this game before.

All it does however is immediately restart the race.

Let's go again!

And by the skin of our teeth, we won!

: Yay! How’s that?

Maybe if you had a little less protein, your car would be more light weight, bro.

: You can do the zero-four even if you don't have any strength.

: Next time I'll try it with a 50 kg shift knob.

: No kidding, I'm fed up with this.

: I'll get the items as promised.

: Well, I'll give you this glue. If you put it on your tires and start the race, it will reduce wheel spin and improve your time.

Glue on tyres to reduce wheelspin and increase traction? Why that's brilliant. Why hasn't anyone thought of that before?

This appears to be another item that should improve our race performance.

: Thank you

Well. This is it nearly it Goons. There's only one location left that we haven't seen before: Houston and one that we’ll need to revisit: Montreal.

But we still have the dry and ice course medals to find...

Let's make our way to Houston!
