WE DID IT GOONS! We finally got a medal!





What a shiny medal it is too. It has a W on it, presumably for ‘Wet’ . I guess we have the Ice and Dry medals still to come.

Now, I gotta say, that race certainly wasn’t easy.

We only beat him by .05 of a second, and Hiro wasn’t kidding when he said he’d keep coming and coming. I lost track of the amount of times I had to retry the save state…

Eventually I found a winning combination where if I started in second, and shifted early, I’d hold enough speed to keep up with him.

I suspect our equipped items, such as our ‘road dryer’ helped things immensely too.

Now, with this out of the way, we can turn our attention once again to the road.
