Because these animations are incredible, I had to show you all of the successful outcomes.

The mini game itself is pretty simple. Pushing a button will shake the food, which you need to do to get the animals attention. If you're lucky, it will come in and eat it.

I'm not sure if the shaking technique actually influences anything, but at least you can't accidentally 'poop' the food early like in the dangerous animal feeding.

Some animals are easier than others. The Sea Otter worked most of the time. I had to do the penguin and dolphin multiple times to get them interested.

The Sea Otter occasionally gave a different animation where he stays with Hiro. I'm not sure if it's random or he becomes more comfortable after repeated feeding. I haven't got any additional animations with others, so maybe I haven't unlocked them or perhaps the developers just love Sea Otters.
