: Wow, We finally arrived.

Keeping the spirit of the interactive travelogue, here's the voice-over translation for Las Vegas!

Las Vegas developed after gambling was legalized in Nevada in 1931. The dazzling neon city is truly a city of dreams.

: It's a flashy town... As expected from Las Vegas.

First thing I have to point out, is Vegas has amazing music. I'm continually impressed with this games soundtrack. You can hear it on the arrival video above.

Beyond the usual car management stuff, we have the standard scene options here in Vegas:

First we need to find out what's the score around here. Let's Talk.

Why, this guy with his pencil mustache, red bow-tie and cigar seems like he might know a thing or two about motorsport. Let's ask him.

: Umm, there’s a place around here where they do zero-yon. Do you have it?

: "What? Zero-yon? There's no way they're doing something like that.

: When you think of Las Vegas, you think of casinos!

He has a point. But it is the middle of the desert. Surely there's some sort of races going on around here?

Let's try Circuit

: Apparently they don't do that here.

Well, that's disappointing. I had a fun image in my head of drag racing down the strip... Maybe there's some auto shops around here?

: There doesn't seem to be any shops.

Part time Job then?

: I'd rather hit the jackpot at the casino than work part-time. What should I do?

We get two options:

Of course Vegas would be a series of Casino mini-games!

I should have predicted this - don’t know why I thought we’d might actually be able to do some racing here.

Let's visit the Casino

Well hello there Miss Playboy Bunny. This sure was the 1990's, huh?

: Welcome

: If you have any questions about the rules, etc. Press the select button at each corner. Please call someone in charge.

: What should I do?

We have three options:

I must say, I continue to be impressed with them adding even more features in this game. It might be more commonplace nowadays to have some Casino like minigames in a bigger title, but at this stage they actually would sell Casino games with just not much more content than what's on display here.

It's been mentioned before that this game really feels like a proto-Shenmue / Yakuza with all the minigames and slice of life content, and I have to agree.

So, Goons. Which game should we play next?
