Like the first game, there's 3 modes:

Interestingly enough, I looked at the manual of the first game, and apparently it has some sort of competitive multiplayer where you can both add modified parts to your cars. And you can bring in your car from the main story.

It sounds interesting features for the time. But of course, we’re here for the story.

Oh hey! It's Hiro! Seems like he's had a haircut in the year since Zero Champ 1. Though he's still rocking that rad, red leather jacket.

And it's Stubborn Gan-San! He's looking decidedly less… crotchety in this game. I'm not sure if I like it.


: Yeah, it's all thanks to Gunn. Now you can tune it yourself. I want to be like that.


: That's not possible yet. The tunes are made with years of experience. Because it's necessary.



It seems like Hiro, under Gan-Sans tutelage has turned into a capable tuner. Hopefully this means we don't need to spend 10 million yen on labour this time around…







: This is terrible!

I guess this guy is still referred to as ‘the King’.... Despite the fact we beat his ass and claimed the Zero4 title. Don't let him forget this, Hiro.

Well, that's nice of him to let us have his million dollar unicorn race car that we had a direct hand in totaling. I'm sure Hiro will treat it with respect...
