SO CLOSE!…. We were… SO… CLOSE!

16.96 vs 16.38 ¼ mile zero four.

On the bright side, we’ve shaved off a couple of seconds from our former 18.63. Finally getting somewhere.

The game doesn't actually tell you how much your changes have affected the cars overall power output, but a stock Honda Prelude has 140 hp. Our humble March started this journey with 50 hp.

Even taking into account our car was significantly lighter than the prelude even before the financial aid, (750kg vs 1200kg. Man, cars used to be much lighter!), we must have made quite the power leap to get within a second of it.

… and yet… we still couldn't beat it. A stock Honda Prelude...

What we clearly need is more power. That Power Pendant should arrive any day now, and I fully expect it to solve all our problems. I mean it's right there in the name!
