In all that excitement about cool girl videos, Hiro almost forgot about his ultimate goal of being the Zero 4 Champ. 

Putting his mind to it, Hiro realised something. The problem in our last race was that his car might have looked cool, but it didn't sound cool.

All the cool cars have roaring throaty noises and 'psshhh' noises that happen when they change gears.

This noise, as is explained to him in magazines, comes from aftermarket mufflers and turbos.

So, I purchased and installed the 70,000 yen turbo, and then tried to follow it up with the 20,000 yen Muffler.

I don't know what that means, but stubborn Gan-san now says it whenever I try to buy anything. Badgering him multiple times doesn't seem to convince him anymore.

I think perhaps he's looking out for young Hiro, and knows he needs to leave at least some money in his bank account for living expenses, and not just spend it all on car parts and girly videos. What a swell guy. I can see why this is a shop for parents!

But this leaves Hiro in a dilemma that every young man has to face at some time in their journey to adulthood.

… He's going to need *gasp* a job!
